Burnley vs Arsenal.
With both Arsenal and Burnley sitting in 4th in their respective divisions it could well be argued both teams are on good form right now. Burnley beat chelsea in the last round of the Carling Cup and Arsenal also managed to beat Chelsea in their last English Premier League game on the weekend, coming from behind to win the match.
Arsenal have out their kids, as is their tendency for the Carliing cup whereas Burnley are expected to put out a good team. However we have seen time and again that Arsenal’s kids are the match of most peoples first teams, and with talent like Aaron Ramsey there I should think this time no exception.
It will be close, Burnely have a band in form midfielder of their own in the shape of ex-Manchester united Chris Eagles, but I expect Arsenals firepower and speed to win through in the end.

Been forgetting to post my betting on here. Been a good month or so, some decent but not spectacular profits. But since they weren’t posted on here they don’t count foe the sake of this experiment.
So to continue here we have Fridays rugby games, the warm up for the internationals on Saturday. To be frank I was hoping for some better odds on these rugby betting tips. The odds in both the Guiness Premiership and the French Top 14 are shocking.

Another mixed bag midweek. At least the Wrexham football betting tip was a good one!
Back to my strengths though, rugby betting. One treble and one double today.
First up is a not very risky treble.
Leicester vs Wasps. With Leicester at home and looking good, against a Wasps away and looking dodgy this for me is a obvikous bet, even if Danny Cipriani is back for Wasps. Flood may not look too convincing at 10 but he should still do the job against a struggling Wasps side suffering a number of injuries. Expect leicesters pack to dominate.
Cardiff Vs Connaught is simply a no-brainer, especially with the cardiff Blues being home. Personally I am interested to see how Leigh Halfpenny does from 15
Stade away to Bourgoin is another simple enough bet. Stade are one of the few ‘big boys’ coping with the new ELV’s and refs interpretation of the rucking laws, expect another easy win.

Gloucester have not impressed me at all this season, and travelling to Sale I would expect them to struggle. I do think both teams here have another gear they are not hitting yet buy Charlie Hodgson is looking good for Sale and they have 2 excellent 9’s there to provide him with service. I think Sale are more likely to step it up that extra gear in this game
Edinburgh away at the Dragons. Edinburgh have been hit and miss, but the Dragons have just been miss. beating Ulster is a result anyone in the league should manage whereas Edinburgh will be desperate for a good game after last week, and have more class in the team than the struggling Dragons. Away win for this game.

Carling cup betting tip - Liverpool to win -1
Just a quick one before I have to nip out. Paddy power are currently offering 8/15 for Liverpool to win by more than 1 goal against Crewe. Despite Liverpool resting a number of key players they should still be far too strong for a team languishing in 21st place in League 1.
No question for me, Liverpool by more than 1 goal, I’m putting £10 on it.

The nonleague football betting tip is for Rushden to beat Wrexham away. No write up here as it is not my tip but one from a friend who loves betting on nonleague football. Usually he doesn’t get very excited by bets, preferring to place a large number of bets and bank on the fact he knows enough to win more than he loses. But this one he is excited by, which has led to me to go for it as well.
Apparently Rushden to win is 9/4 at Totesport, which is massively overpriced by all accounts, with Wrexham having lost 3 of their last 4. So, putting trust in my friend, I’m placing £10 on it.
