Nice to get back to winning ways on the rugby betting. Scarlets were a LOT better than I thought they would be, and connaught far worse.

On the plus side though… the bet came in and my week is back on a profit.

Going to be honest, it didn’t even slightly occur to me that the ospreys were going to be able to win that game. But good on them, always like to see youngsters come in and do well.

Even if they did hand me a loss with a last minute try!

So the Scarlets won but failed to beat the handicap. Hell of a game though.

Frustrating as well. If the Scarlets played even slightly better in teh first half or took one of four try scoring chances in the second then there is a good chance this would have come in for me. But them the breaks, can’t win ‘em all!

Thank God, wanted to get that first win under my belt! Worried at half time but Lee Byrne played a blinder to take things further than I thought they would.
